Restore Fiscal Responsibility to Sparta
Reduce legal expenses that drain money from essential services and reserves. Resolve disputes through mediation, not litigation.
Restore Accountability & Transparency to Town Hall
Hold bi-annual municipal financial reviews at Town Council meetings so every resident can see exactly where their tax dollars are going.
Put Public Safety First
Public safety must come first. We will prioritize police, fire, and EMS staffing, emergency response, and the equipment first responders need to serve Sparta safely and effectively.
Protect What Makes Sparta Special
Protect Sparta’s forests, lakes, ponds, streams, and rural environment through responsible stewardship and thoughtful planning.

Raised in Sparta, his family has been part of the community since 1979, Marty brings private-sector leadership and a strong commitment to families, schools, safety, and quality of life.
